CL and maid really helps?
First, will talk about my maid. After 1 1/2 month with us, she is really a great help especially in the kitchen. All the confinement food upfront preparation, family meals, cleaning job and laundry (including CL’s and babies clothes) are all done by her alone. She loves cooking so she picks up cooking skill quite easily. All CL has to do is to tell her what to do, and she can cook the dish for the family. But cleaning wise, hmm, not very good at that. Me and hubby got to keep reminding her to clean this, clean that. Sometimes tell many times liao also no action unless I ask her to do it immediately and stand there there looking at her doing her task. Very “tai tau har” (forgetful person) until sometimes she leaves our home door wide open!!! ….sigh…..
Next my CL. Not much complain although I feel that previous CL is more experience. Current CL is far relative and thank goodness we decided to hire one for this confinement. Although she does not have to do any house chores, is really not easy for a CL to take care of the twins (sometimes even kelam kabut when the boys need feeding or need to be carried at the same time). Basically she just have to cook for me (all things upfront prepared by maid) and take care of the babies.
Really cannot imagine once my CL leaves. Having two babies at one go is really tiring!!!!!!!
wah good lah ur maid can cook, mine after 3 tahun still cant..i guess each one has their strength, so use that
yes… it’s better to get ‘many’ helper! hehehe… agree with jazzmint! use them!

sounds like your maid is quite a good helper. Good for you. Sometimes they need more “guidance” in certain aspects. We just have to remind them again and again. I used to tell my maid that if strangers comes in, they will hurt everyone in the family inclusive herself. Hope that she will be more careful next time. Got help = less stress
indon maids tend to b very forgetful, so u have to keep reminding her, my previous maid has been wif us for 2yrs n we still have to keep reminding her…. else u write down what she needs to do and ask her to review her notes so that u do not need to keep reminding her, but the most imp is shes capable of handling the tasks u requested

Good to hear that there’s some improvement on the maid side, hopefully she’ll keep up the good cooking and keep on becoming better!
Aiyo…even I will be kelam kabut, if I had to take care of twins! If both wailing at the same time….tao wan…..
But good to hear the maid is good at cooking!!!! At least she’ll know what good food to cook when the CL leaves! Ask her to observe CL closely! U still need to eat well!!!!

Sounds like your CL is not that taxing… sometimes I think being a CL also earn alot especially those with good experience… anyway, having more pairs of hands really helpful at this stage and moreover with twins!
I’m sure you still very busy even you got 2 good helpers…
not easy to take care of 2 babies..
Luckily u still have a maid, if not lagi kelam kabut after ur CL leaves. I can imagine how difficult it is to take care of 2 little babies and a toddler. U’ve to take care of urself too.
I can only imagine the difficulty of taking care if twins, luckily your maid is coming along well. At least can help out a bit.
Great that your maid picks up cooking easily, my maid either can’t cook or doesn’t dare to cook.
After CL left you still have maid to help a bit no worry.

I think should be ok.
Worse case, at night, ask your maid to jaga 1, and you jaga another. No need to send to baby sitter.
In Hong Kong, most working parents let the child sleep with the maid for the first few years ler.

for CL, really not an easy task for her esp taking care of twins. i really kesian my CL last time as she need to do all as i dun have a maid. preparation of confinement food, laundry (me, my twins & hers), cleaning (my room & kitchen), taking care of twins (the most tough), boil water (with herbs) for me to bath, bath my twins etc.. i got kelam kabut after she left! wakakka…
Ha,ha…my sis regret hiring her maid, and plan to send her off exactly after 1 year contract…
