Incredibly, I survived the last 2 nights with the babies after my CL left. On the first night, 2 of them were very coorperative and sleep after each feeding, of course, that is because they are OVER TIRED after crying during the day.
Taking care of twins can be extremely challenging. Each night my maid and I will take at least 3 hours to soothe them down in the late evening. Each time, we got to rush here and there like mad woman, making milk, dancing and singing with the wailing babies in separate rooms (so the crying one will not wake the *pengsan over tired* slept baby. By the time both of them settle down, I’ll sweat like a mad woman and need a shower again.
Of course, maid get her sleep and left me to handle to twins alone. Sometimes, when they need feeding at the same time, hb will need to assist me. As long as they continue to sleep after each feeding, I’ll be able to catch some sleep in between.
Really love looking at them, holding them tight and smelling the babies. Even miss them a lot when I go out just a few moments. How nice if I can see them thru my car GPS system. I know I am surely gonna miss their little baby moments when they grow up, unless I get pregnant again, HAHAHA!!!

Do you think that all the dangerous drivers and those with very old vehicles should be refraining from driving on the road? I was really surprise with the recent horrible accident that involves a truck which rammed into several vehicles. Due to this, some innocent victims were dead and most seriously injured. It happens just very near to my place where we frequently use the road. Some blamed the incident on the starting of the 7th lunar month (Ghost Festival). Whatever it is, I still think that all vehicles should at least be inspected and checked by expert like midwest auto recycling to prevent similar incidents to happen again.

Ok, teruk or not me, until today I have not buy the test kit for my maid. She does not look like pregnant to me anyway, so put that matter aside first (can’t really live without a helper, especially now!)
During the weekends, we brought her back to Kuantan. Our trip back was fine until yesterday when we came back. Guess what, she almost puked in our car while carrying one of the twins!
Sensing something was wrong, luckily I was in time to carry the baby away from her and gave her a plastic bag. Can you imagine how furious my hubby was? At least she could have told us earlier without me having to ask her all time. Really dare not imagine what hubby would do to her if she really vomited in his beloved car. Die la…she is so scared of air-con and can “mabuk” during long distance ride, how to follow us back to hometown next time? Sigh…should I invest one term life insurance for her ah?
On the other hand, she can be really helpful. Since the CL left, at least I still get food on my table, house cleaned (but not very clean) and another pair of hand carrying the crying babies (oh, they do always cry, eat at the same time!)
sigh…maid oh maid, how can I live without one now?

Thanks for all wishes. Haha…Chinese name ah…I also dono how to explain, got to wait for hubby and get their name. Will do a scrap one day (if I ever able to find time again!)
My CL just left this morning and our “horror” starts.
The boys just kept crying (since last night when we reached home from Kuantan). And this morning, nothing me or the maid do can soothe them down. They just keep on crying and crying, and even though very hungry, they just would not take their milk from the bottle. So the only thing I can do is to let them suckle until the fall asleep. Once I pull myself free from them, they start crying again, rejecting the milk bottle. The moment we put them down, they will start to wail again. How nice if there is a hammock chair in my garden where I can rock myself to sleep carrying the babies together.
After of 5 hours struggle, I only managed to feed them by shoving the bottle into their mouth once they fall asleep on my breast. Maid manage to put sleeping Baby Then on the playpen while I had to hug Baby Zhen on my arm to sleep on the couch. (In fact, it is best to separate the 2 sleeping babies are they tend to wake up each other when one of them cry
)
Sigh…if only I can pour the formula into me so that I can feed them! And tonight, I bet the nightmare will start with hubby since we will have TWO babies in our room starting from tonight. Wonder if I still have time to blog again in future.

It is extremely tedious to take care of two babies at the same time. When one cries, we try to quickly carry him up before he wakes up his other half. Every night, it really takes us lots of effort to put them to sleep. So by the time they both dozed off, I am already dead tired. Even hubby’s loud snoring could not wake me up. I hope that by waking up several times a night, I can be rewarded with a good weight lost, especially the bulge on my tummy. With the limited time specials and discounts from Free Allegro eCatalog, probably I should get one of the weight vests so that it can help me support my back.

Everyone has been asking me what are the names of my babies, and until today, only I publish it, sorry yeah, folks!
I have been waiting to do a nice scrap for the names, that is the reason of the delay. Guess this nice picture taken by Jazz will do
What is happening to me:
Time is really out for me these days as I have been going out this whole week to settle my personal things before the departure of my CL next Monday. Wonder do you all go out during confinement? We will be going back to hubby’s hometown tomorrow for full moon prayers, and from next Monday onwards, I’ll be on my own….*sob sob*…..
What is happening to the babies:
Remember the geli thing called “At Tap Chee” ? Hey, it kind of works la….At least the boys are more settled when they sleep (probably they are also older now?)
Zhen is now 4kg (surely feels heavy for me) and Then now is 3.6kg. The nurse just came over to weight the boys yesterday and haha….I did not even realise I have to give Ang Pow to the nurse wor. Got such thing one meh? I only found out when a neighbour mentioned it to me, with my CL confirmed it.
Ok la, since I missed giving her on her last 2 visits, so still untung since I only have to give one “Lai Si” yesterday. So funny when I think of it!
Got to rush again….be back next week!

Thanks a lot for your wishes. Yes, it was my birthday yesterday!
4 years back, I was holding my little QQ posing in front of my birthday cake, and this year, we are blessed with additional 2 boys in our family, the greatest gift of all.
Oh yes, will reveal the boys name soon :p

My confinement lady will leave in another 3 days. In another words, I will not be able to go anywhere anymore, since I will be tied with my two little babies plus one demanding toddler. I cannot imagine what my days will be after this, but for sure, everything is going to be hectic and probably more havoc than now. I must say that I have really learn a great deal on how to handle little baby from this confinement lady. With the easy access to free online drug reference tool for medical websites from home, at least no more immediate pressing of panic buttons or rushing to the clinic when the boys start crying.
This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.

Realise who is that pretty lady in the picture?
Last weekend we wanted to take some nice shots for the boys, everything was set ahead and everyone was well prepared and the boys are all dressed up properly in their vintage t shirts. But guess what? The models refuse to coorperate with us in the end and cry one after another in rotation.
Instead of spending time on photography, we spent hours soothing them down, one after another. So most of the time we only manage to capture pictures of each single baby instead of having the twins posing together. Photography postponed to another date later.

Ok, more of maid horror story again.
Don’t know what’s wrong with our maid. Just a month here, she gained 4kg in less than 2 months! Even her boobs and buttock look so big now until she complaint that she cannot wear the new underwear I bought for her when she arrives 2 month ago.
Few days back, CL even told me to keep an eye on her as she saw my maid peeping at our window a few times when the postman arrives. She even dare to nap on Sunday afternoon when my house is full of guests!
This morning, when my CL told me that she notice her vomited twice, my hubby gets suspicious and asked me if she is pregnant since she is gaining too much of weight until her body goes out of shape!
Oh God, then only I remember we did leave her alone for a few days at home (with our house keys) while I was giving birth in the hospital. Since it is only 3 weeks, don’t think the test kit can tell. Maybe I should just pretend and ignore until it is due (in end August) to pay the maid’s balance advance 4 months salary?
Hiring a maid today is so expensive, even more expensive than us having to pay for our truck rental now.
Any advice to share?

Time flies really and I am already completing the 3rd week of my confinement!
But sadly, I notice my milk supply is getting lesser and lesser (with less sign of engorgement). If the baby feeds at different time, I’ll normally feed one baby and pump on the other side at the same time.
Suckle amount = Pump amount ?
Not sure if the above equation applies. Sadly I only get the most 1.5oz from pumping one side. Does that mean that my baby only get to suckle 1.5oz from one side feeding?
No wonder they cry like mad and keep on waking up every hour! Since they are already taking 3oz of formula from bottle, I wonder if I can keep them full by solely breastfeeding them?
For the first 2 weeks, I have been pumping only at night and will put into this mini fridge upstairs (luckily got this portable mini fridge for car use) so that I do not have to go all the way down to the kitchen’s fridge or use my wine refrigerator.
But these 2 nights, I have been sleeping with one twin (on rotation basis) while CL takes the other. Since the supply is so low, I got to wake up almost every hour to feed to my hungry baby
Have been drinking a lot, taking all kinds of soup. Can you believe that this odd mama’s shirts and bras are dry all the time during confinement?
Any tips to increase my supply?

Do you really believe in making money through investment? My mum just called just now, telling me that the share market is going downhill, and it may be time to buy. Although it may be pretty risky, some shares may be good buys as the price might be the lowest at the moment. Of course, we have to study the financial background and get more details of the company before investing into the shares or options of a company. With the online tools such as options screener, it is much easier to do that. If only I have extra money to spare now for long term investment.

To share a very geli photo here.
Anyone knows what this is called? After so much struggling with these 2 babies day and night (even my CL said they are the most difficult babies she ever seen!), we decided to try this remedy for the babies.
How to do:
Wet the shoulder, thighs, and arms area. Then rub some flour onto the wet area. Work under your bathroom lighting. If lumps are seen, then it means the babies internal body is hot (my friend called it “ap tap chee” (hokkien means dirty torn) ). Then apply some lotion to shave it off their body (we tried to shampoo it off but it just could not come off).
Why do this:
To cold down the baby’s body so that the baby can sleep better.
Not sure if it works, but no harm trying since we almost go mad. Cannot imagine how my life will be after my CL leaves end of next week….WAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you believe it? I am blessed with 2 sons, both with 2 HEAD SWIRLS !!!!
Update on the 16th day:
Twin 1: 3.45kg (gained 700g)
Twin 2: 3.15kg (gained 800g)
Mummy: Bleeding reduce, wound not so painful anymore, weight (ahem, still a hippo so cannot reveal!)
Yesterday night, my poor CL did not have a chance to sleep until 5am this morning! Both the boys woke up every hour for feeding and even during daytime (they hardly wait for more than 2 hours for each feeding!). According to my CL, this is the most difficult pair of twins that she has taken care in her 10 years experience!
I really wonder if I can cope at night after she leaves, in another 2 weeks time. I even propose to hubby last night if we should send one kid to babysitter if I really cannot cope (how I wish if we can allocate another budget for this!)

It is surely difficult for anyone to climb the competitive corporate ladder today if he does not have any paper qualification. Many are now going for double degree, in order to obtain additional skill and qualification to stand out from the rest. I do thought of it, if one day I decided to go into the workforce again, that I should have some higher qualification. But with the kids so young now, I might delay the plan to a few years later, or maybe take one of the online college courses so that I still can attend to my children at home.
