Check up today: 2 days to 37 weeks
After waiting for so long, having so much worry that the twins will arrive earlier than expected (36weeks), I finally walked through the journey and made it so far. Besides feeling tired and heavy, I am used to the discomfort by now.
Findings:
- Twin 1 has engaged, but head still high up in pelvis
- No sign of dilation
- Twins weight estimated: Twin 1 (2.8kg), Twin 2 (2.6kg)
Don’t know how accurate is the scan, but the weight of the babies sounds quite scary. I have not been gaining weight for the past one month, but there is an increase of babies weight. Does that mean I am losing weight? **good sign for hippo mummy yeah**
Initially I wanted the twins to arrive soon, but now I need to “negotiate” with them to postpone again to another week coz timing is really out! Nanny and her family will be travelling to Bangkok for 5 days. If I pop, there will be no one to take care of QQ jie-jie.
So babies, come out another Thursday yeah (@ 38weeks)

Nanny will go to BKK, i have to stay at home and look after my yew shen. Qiqi can come to my house after school, but i afraid she feel boring cos nothing fun at my house, just yew shen toys and astro…hehe..
37 weeks already, hang in there. When you see your twin babies, you’ll know that it’s all worth it.

wow…5kg plus…no wonder u cannot walk…it is good that they don’t come out earlier…let them betul betul develop then baru kelueh.
oh if the ultrasound is reliable ur bb weight just nice for a twin… but must b very tiring for mummy 2 carry 2bbs at the same time

WOW! Your lil bubs are putting on very good weight! I’m so happy..because then they’ll be discharged fast!!! Even a singleton at 2.6kg is considered ok already! Michelle is very nice to offer her place to QiQi….
Righteo twins… stay…until Nanny comes back refreshed from her 5 day holiday!

the twins are in good weight. Even Jayden was only 2.55 when born in week 38. I think they can listen to what u say..maybe they will come at 38 weeks! good luck!

Sounds like the twins weigh quite well but sure mommy is getting discomfort & tired. Hang in there, you’ll soon be seeing the 2 angels.
glad to know things are doing well for you. i feel for u in terms of the ‘weight-load’ but it is a good weight for twins. cant’ wait to see them and yes, hope they wait till 38 weeks. they have been good all this while so i’m sure they will listen to mummy

The twins r having a good weight individually. Mind u, some babies r lighter altho they’re alone in the womb. It’s good that bb’s not too small. Easier to handle. Must be extra excited now that the delivery time is drawing nearer. Take care!
