Ikan Bakar @ Serkam (Melaka)
I feel the title sounds so funny, since I was just returning to my hometown like usual.
But this time, hubby really bring me and QQ to places we have always plan to go, but not been there (despite originated from Melaka myself).
I heard so much about the Ikan Bakar (Grilled Fish) in Serkam, and now the latest Grilled Fish Village in Padang Temu. After a few enquiries (by bothering my dear friend, Li Li), I did not manage to find the new Ikan Bakar place, but instead ended up at the oldest Medan Ikan Bakar (Grilled Fish Village) in Serkam.
There are a few stalls but we went to the one with most people (drove opposite to a little stall over a little bridge). The Nasi Lemak is really good and boy, food there are CHEAP too and delicious too!!!!
- One big fish (Jenahak of 1kg) only cost $31.xx and it taste really good with the special black sauce.
- 1/2kg crunchy fried squid only cost $11.xx.
- With 8 servings of Nasi Lemak and 6 cups of drinks, the total only cost about $57.xx!!!
I quickly jot this down into my laptop upon reaching home on this nice visit. Oh, how I wish to go there again, for the delicious fresh seafood, maybe this time to another nearer fishing village the next round :p

ya nasi lemak in serkam still better than Pdg Temu. To me Pdg Temu cheaper than Serkam ler….

Very ‘tai sek’ hor. Long time nvr eat those Malay type ikan bakar edi. They usually come with vy nice sauce. Mmmm… yummy!

I remember once I went.. not sure if the same place or not but an Ikan Bakar place in Melaca. There were so many flies there… the Taiwanese visitors I brought a lot also got worried.
haha…not very suitable to bring foreign guests to that place. a bit dirty !!
