Still remember the glass bottle coke?
I still remember we used to have these little cute looking glass bottles for our Coca-cola and other gas drinks when I was little. The man in the van or tricycle from the sundry shop would send a few cartons over to our house, especially it is near to the New Year celebration. After we finished the drinks, we can sell it back to the shop for recycle.
Later, with the invention of plastic, plastic container becomes so common. Plastic are more easy to manage, lighter and most importantly, more hygienic especially when it is used to store food and drinks. If we notice, almost all the food and drinks container on the shelves are made from plastic, which is good to prevent spill and breaks.
Plastic can be quite costly so it is wise to recycle all the plastic at home besides doing our part to reduce rubbish and save our environment.
HDPE Scrap is in the business to recycle the products. In many packaging applications, HDPE is used because it provides better water barrier and also chemical resistance. However only food packaging that does not require CO2 containment could use HDPE film. Some of the samples are like that we saw in our cereal box or snack food liners.
