Birth planned in HUKM
During the past few weeks, we travelled so often, and last week back to hubby’s hometown again, for prayers to my FIL. We were so afraid we would be caught in jam again so we came back earlier. It was nothing much except I am getting more and more tired these days.
Until today I have not confirmed on the maid and confinement lady issue 
More about my plan on maid here. Don’t dare to think what is going to happen soon when the babies arrive.
Tummy is getting so much bigger that I feel really uncomfortable now. Although have yet entered 3rd trimester, I am feeling so sleepy all time. Since we expect everything would be doubled, I decided to give birth at HUKM (semi-private hospital hoping to cut some cost just in case of emergency).
After 1 hour waiting, I have only done the registration and given a next appointment (see how “goverment” the service is!! Would appreciate if anyone with HUKM experience to share with me how it is like giving birth in UKM…
I am sure you will have a fine experience. Relax, and make friends with the staff?

Hi Chinnee, why not take a photo of your tummy and show us how Twins pregnancy is? Yeah, government hosp need to be very patient… don’t worry and take good care.

I guess it’s normal ur tummy’s extra big since u’re carrying 2. If u feel tired easily, then rest more in btw. Try not to do something for too long. Just rmbr, don’t stress urself up.
I’ve no exp with HUKM. But if the long waiting time is unavoidable, probably u can get ur no., then go off for a drink/snack n come back later? Or equip urself with mags n books to keep u occupied.

I am also feeling really tired and sleepy these days, which is very unlike of me, a super energetic woman who used to wake up at 5:30am to jog, go to work and come bk to be a mum to 2 kids yet dont feel tired. Blame it on the preggy hormones. Yup ALice is right, u shd snap a pic of your tummy and show us.
BTW, how many weeks preggers are you now?

I wonder do confinement lady charge double for twins. Anyway, I hope you get all the help needed when those babies come.
Its really tiring bearing twins. I’ve got a friend, she could hardly walk at 7mths & need to sit down most of the time.

like i told u before, my SIL gave birth many times there before but i can’t speak for her on the experiences though!!
but at least i don’t hear her complaint much abt it…and i notice the environment was pretty good!!

I had my 2 deliveries in HUKM….
besides the waiting time! Everthing is OK, especially the $$$. I stayed in HUKM for 5 days when delivering Wen Wen. It only cost me less than RM500, if I’m right!
Not plan to scare you, but, my hubby relative give birth there, and the training dr didn’t do it properly, and the following day, this wife got bleeding non stop till have to readmit and wash again……
