Initially I thought to DIY my confinement since I should be more experience in baby care and breastfeeding *ahemm* by now. But since there is another extra baby now, I should be doing some preparation on my part too, even though I would have a CL to assist me.
Since we have no family member to help us here, there are some pre-arrangement that I think get ready upfront, such as the buying of herbs, and hospitalization arrangement (such as catering).
A friend of mine recommended getting the 30-day pre-packed herb for my herbal soup. Even my CL suggested that, since it helps a lot getting everything ready upfront just in case 2 babies are too handful to manage.
My dear friend Liz even offered me to prepare my herbal bath so another task taken care of.
Since CL only arrives after I discharge from the hospital, I need to do is to get some simple herbs for my red date drinks (and pre-packed them myself) so that hubby/maid can just cook them when I am hospitalized.
Meals during stay in hospital? Haha…I got some SAHM friends standing by to cook simple dish like ginger fried rice or ginger wine pork so hubby can collect and send them to me. Or any other easier options?
Anything else that I missed out? Probably also some personal medical care from home medical equipment to standby before my deliver

Remember the movie by the name of The Sound of Music? Remember how the teacher had the kids running, playing and singing around on the hills, their big beautiful mansion and lush green landscaping? I still remember all the nice songs and how the sweet melodies filling the air in the family. That is really a good story, with some nice “happy ever after” ending where love evolved between the teacher and the father of the seven children.
It makes me dream about going to places like that. It would be nice to stay in such villa, or even a small cottage up on the hill, sitting by the fireplace at night with your family and your love ones, singing the happiness of life all day long.
Of course there is a way to live like that, by going for a short vacation. Now we can opt for a vacation rental on a farmhouse rebuilt villa in the heart of Tuscany. There are even fully furnished apartments Villa vacation rentals apartments in Tuscany, just for the comfort of your family. Of course the best day to stay there is on Saturday, where you can be treated a free home made welcome buffet.

Guess what are the sexes of my twins?
Actually we saw one baby before Chinese New Year. If my gynae is accurate, I am having one Mickey (the more inactive twin) and the other unknown (the kicking hard twin) !!
Hubby is hopping for a “same-face” twin (regardless boy or girl), but I hope QQ would have a brother and sister at one go. After what I been thru in this pregnancy, I think I must really give up so this must be my last pregnancy. Too tired, can’t take it anymore….
This morning, I heard that even Jennifer Lopez has delivered a Mickey and Minnie, and she spent $1.4million on her delivery!! How lucky to be her children!! And since it is so easy to make the hotel booking now, how I wish to fly there and check into one of the New York Hotel to visit her babies!!

After my experience with HUKM yesterday, I think I better equip myself with more knowledge about childbirth.
Hoping to get the least intervention from the hospital staffs, as I do not want to be poked underneath (especially to check the opening of cervix during birthing) uneccessary by students and learning nurses just because they want to go through their trainings.
Spoke to my dear friend, Wai Han from hypnobirthing.com.my. She is willing to spend sometime with me with the relaxation. Some of you might know she gave birth all unattended at home to her 2nd baby? Got picture here, hehe…She even showed me some pictures of home birthing with twins…
I know it is going to be very risky to do that for twins delivery…..
But at least with sufficient knowledge, I wouldn’t have to depend so much on the nurses while I am giving birth, right?
Don’t think I got the courage to a home birthing, although I do imagine myself and thought about the possibility whole last nite
Who knows, if my babies come out too early, or I can be as relax as her, I might not even make it on time to the hospital!!!!
(Oh yes, my hubby, a 7th child, was a home-birth baby too as her mum did not make it to the hospital on time!)

Remember how Edison Chen became famous overnight with just some photos on his computer? If only he knew how to manage his computer well, and not simply send it away to another third party for help, his private photos would not have leaked out.
Not only computer for business needs protection, I think every personal computer needs a certain degree of protection as well. But most of the time, we will send our computer to seek for expert’s help whenever virus attack our system or if anything goes wrong.
If you need protection of your network from spam, viruses and other malware, you might want to try Sophos, the best network protection for your computer.

You wouldn’t believe how many people I have called during these few days.
Have decided to hire a confinement lady (CL) due to the following reasons:
- Don’t think I am that superb to handle twins!
- Since this is gonna be my last pregnancy, why not enjoy it?
- My SIL experienced Indon maid can’t come. So better get a CL in case I get a blur “sotong” (lousy) maid
- Since money can be earned again, but not healthy body yea..
Many “recommended” maid has been booked since last year, including my ex-CL. People nowadays really don’t pantang, they book CL even before their pregnancy is stable, huh….
This CL is my SIL’s SIL who also did the confinement for my SIL. Geee……hope she is good and up to my expectation (geee….orang sendiri la)
I just found out that CL from Melaka are quite cheap after calling a few today (only RM2600-2700 exclude ang pow).
For my extra baby, I have to pay extra Rm1100. Add up still not too expensive right?
Besides milking, am going to sleep 24 hours, all nite long during my confinement. YAHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P/S: If I could rent a massage chair at home to massage my back while breastfeeding, that would be the best, hehe…

I have a nephew who has just gone to do his medicine privately here locally. Although it is done in the country, all doctors were imported overseas from India so the fee is quite expensive too. Not only it is expensive to study in private university, there is also a risk of getting a degree that might not be recognised by the government. Therefore it is very essential to check the college accreditation to see if it is certified for certain professional qualifications.
Capella University is an accredited fully online university that offers a wide range of degree programs. Do visit their website to check out more if you are interested to do your degree online.

Often we read about heroes, how they reached out to save people all around them, trying to help as much as they can. These people really help with an open heart, without even hoping for any recognition or award. In some poor countries, we see volunteer nurses and doctors flying over to help the sick and the poor without even afraid of the disease that might caught them. For instant, we all know about the sacrifice of Mother Theresa and there are even lots more of people who are out there helping just like her.
However there is a risk when someone reaches out to help especially with the sickness. For instant, people dealing with the world’s deadliest diseases such as AIDS, Ebola can be transmitted by this disease very easily while they are working with these people in some of the world’s poorest area.
Dr. William Heyward is among one of the hero who has been fighting against these deadly diseases. His effort started way back in 1979, where he worked with indigenous populations to fight against Hepatitis B and liver cancer among the Alaskan natives. He then spent his time later for study of HIV/AIDS and investigates the Ebola epidemic in Zaire. If only each on of us could contribute a little of what he have done, we would have a peaceful world.

After being in employment for so many years, and with his recent new assignments, my hubby gets really fed up working. I could hear his frustration each moment and everyday, he has been complaining about his job, and his boss. Unlike the passed few years, he now comes back very late sometimes, always seems to rush for his work going without having lunch and also very late dinner.
I know he has been suffering a lot with such work load pressure and if it is not for the family, he would have gave up very early on this job. If only I am earning a good income and able to contribute a part to the family expenses, then he wouldn’t be so stressful. But unfortunately I am not, what’s more I am currently heavily pregnant with our twins.
Hubby has a business in mind, and he hopes to set up his own business, since there are so many opportunities from the China Manufacturers now. I am really amaze to see they advance so quickly by supplying lots of things to each part of the corner of the world. In fact, he has written to a few supplies in China, and still waiting to get a response from them.

Moving home is a tedious thing to do, what’s more moving to another country. I came to know many new friends online who move to other country, either follow their spouse who is working overseas, or migrate for a better life.
Hubby and I did consider about this issue. I am hoping that he could get a better offer overseas, so that we can get a better earning for the family. Everything is getting so expensive today, what’s more if my children want to study medicine privately. The only way out that we can thought of is to earn some foreign currency that has a better rate so we can build up our saving faster.

Writing without a photo really “boh shiok” (no fun) hor…hehe…
Since there is no camera to use at the moment, I’ll just post some of the previous photos taken.

Towards the last few afternoons, we did so much home visits, as if everyone does not want the CNY to end.
Martini (see her posing behind d kids?) was so nice to drive over on afternoon, all from PJ with a map and her 2 kids to visit us. Her Teng Hong was very clever to ask permission for everything, while her Xin Yi so sweet, being a good-good girl when the 2 older kids were playing.
Since Jane was on leave, with some mums from my playgroup, we went to visit Cheng Sim and Jo-N too. (You can see all mummies lepak at Jo-N’s place with nice goat milk dessert and some kuih on the table?)
(Of course we did not gamble like what we did in Vegas hotel during CNY)
Suddenly we chat until no sounds from the kids who are being left alone in the living hall. We went to see, ALAMAK, all our kids almost falling asleep liao…hehe

How do you normally store all your photos? Do you keep it in your computer hard disk or online? We now can store our photos, even to hide files. I am sure there are some photos you would prefer to keep private? Am sure you do not want your private photos to leak out like Edison Chen’s photos?

What do you think about those ladies working in spa? I mean the real spa for women and not those for only men to visit la….
I have talked to some of the women at the spa I visited and it seems to me that these ladies who work in spa would work in the same industry for a long time. They can easily change from one spa to another whenever there are spa jobs available in newer spa.
With the growth rate of the beauty industry, I believe the spa worker expert could fetch a very good price in future.
