The New Specky Team
Still remember the New Chicken Little’s (QQ’s cousin brother) picture I posted sometime back? In fact, QQ has a Chicken Little soft toy at home.
They look so funny together that I can’t help but quickly catch a picture of them together. Of course QQ’s pink plastic spec is a fake one without any glasses on. She even wore that to the shopping center yesterday, boy, she really look funny with it la….
To be frank, I am tempted to bring her to check her eye sight since she frequently gets so afraid whenever I am standing away a bit far from her or gets out of her sight. But hubby kept on insisting she is ok since he doesn’t want her to go through the eye check procedure (where they will put special solution into the eye to open up the retina).
Just for your knowledge, we have a child eye-specialist at Mid Valley Building if you want to send your kid for a check. If the term life insurance could covers a part of the medical expenses, then it would be great.
Nowadays a lot of kids wear specs since small.. Do not know what happen actually ? TV-games ? computers ? TV cartoon ??
kee yit, the truth is that many are born with it. my nephew for instant. Just that our technology is so good nowadays we manage to find out about it earlier :p

Thanks for the info on the child’s eye specialist. I think I’ll need to pay them a visit as Hubby’s wearing specs since 3 years old and I wanted to make sure both my girls are not getting it from him…
but it can be quite torturing with the check for little ones

Oh, y not try asking her to see a far away object, an alphabet or shape, if she can see it clearly… jes a rough check. Then oni decide if wanna go for thorough chk, as they use special solution.

She always wanna go very near to TV and computer…we are really worry
is that really necessary (putting a solution)? My kids both wear eyeglasses, but the opthalmologist never put solution. Josh started wearing one when he was in nursery, about 4 years old.
i think so as they are too young to tell “blur” or “clear”…
