Latest Blogging Trend: Sell Your Blog!
Some great info if you haven’t found out about this latest trend in blogging.
If there is someone out there who will be willing to buy your blog for $10k, would you consider selling it?
In fact, a pro-blogger I know of just sold his PR6 blog for $10K. Bob, my dear blog theme designer achieve PR6 in just 5 months, and he sold of his blogohblog.com with that price. Smart move as anything could happen to a PR anytime!
Another blog that I frequently read, 5xmom has also put up her blog on Christmas Sale (announced on her personal blog with free snow flakes some more!). I am really surprise with her decision.
Well, I was jokingly asking my hubby this evening, if I should sell of my silly blog if there is anyone out there willing to pay such a good price. Guess what he said, “Why not?” Afterall, $10K is a lot for just a few months of blogging plus what I have earned here. So, what am I going to do after that? Probably open an online clothing store to earn income from home?
Anyway…I am really amazed with his answer. But how about all the personal touch and love that I have pour into this blog? But I can always setting up another one and continue from there right? It really sounds silly, but this is just a thought. No one can be that silly to buy a personal blog like this, I guess…..or hey, anyone? *giggling*

If someone want to buy your blog that much.. well go for it. Well actually don’t sell that low. Yours worth more than that. I will post about it later. You will be surprise how much your blog worth now. Just wait ok. the $10K is suddenly so small for this blog. Trust me

It is not easy to get 10k for your blog unless you have high PR, subscribers, traffic and a justifiable income factor that is attractive to buyers. Otherwise, you will get blasted by the public for even putting up your blog for sale.
well, i m sure there must be a statistical measurement to estimate the price of a blog. we wont be able to run too far from it otherwise it would be an absolutely hilarious issue in the blogosphere!

Well, since your blog or mine is not PR6 forget about trying to sell it for anything.
A blog is PR6 for a reason .. if whoever bought it does not continue to maintain it the way it was maintained, I doubt readers will continue to return. Who was the other guy who sold his blog for $6k? It was either a PR5 or PR6 blog.
I saw you had a PR2 I think, but after 2 weeks, it went back to zero.
Mine when down from 3 to 2 to 1 in 2 weeks, and probably went down to zero. Didn’t stick around to see it reach that level, coz I decided to get a custom domain name for it and of course that made the PR zero .. coz it is like starting from scratch.
P.S. Did you notice the video you uploaded messed up your template? You should delete the embed code and copy paste the original code again. Mine got messed up too when I did the Freeze It video, but re-pasting the code from the original code corrected it.

You are so right, anything can happen to PR anytime. I stopped blogging for 2 months and shocked to see it dropped to 0! Seems to be happening to a lot of people. Smart move for the pro-blogger to sell for a great price. I suppose it really depends on your purpose of blogging. For those who pour their heart and soul into it, it’s hard to put a price tag on their blogs eh?!

I should have sold my blogs when they were PR5 hor before they all became 0. Hahaha. No, I won’t sell my blogs but I am not at all surprised by 5Xmom selling. She has so many blogs. What is selling one? Besides it will be yet another experience to write about. Very smart.
gee…since we are only writing about today, and looking forward tomrw, nothing to loose by selling too since we can import all the history if we still need them :p
