It lasts only 1 day
Yesterday one whole morning I was at preschool with QQ for her trial. I find this school (in my house area) kinda interesting, for they are more spacious as this place is purposely built to be a kindergarten, they are more specialise in subjects they teach. Class teachers will only focus in English where they will have a different teacher for BM (Cikgu Jaya), Mandarin (Teacher Ling), PE and best of all Music (Teacher Pearly from Musikgarten).
Once a week (each Monday), they will get to attend Music class. Yesterday one was a fantastic one coz Teacher Pearly was using the Musikgarten method and instruments to conduct the class.
The only complain for this preschool is the attitude of the teachers. Since yesterday was a trial with so many parents around, it is hard to judge the teachers since they will be at their best.
I had to stay in the class from beginning till the end where other mums are already hiding away. Since this is only going to be a trial, I try not to frighten her as I do not wanna loose my chance to throw her into school early next year.
The trial classes are supposed to continue today until Thursday but guess what, I am here at home typing since QQ refuse to wake up from her bed although she is now widely awake…sigh…..

for me, i was stern with ian going to kindy, now he likes it, i think depending on children to see if they like it or not. i took ian for a trial kindy before he started school end of last yr and he didnt like it till he had nightmares a few things in the whole trial week. for ian, its the kids treatment towards him, he liks soft spoken teachers..
Teacher Pearly is a good music teacher. She always conducts the class in a very lively way. My DD enjoys her class very much. A lot of my friends also studied in this kindy.

Hehe…atest update, we went for a while just now, before we went out for lunch. Manage to get her into class for a while. My gal really gets better of me ya…seems that I m the only Mama kena buli so teruk!!

Did qiqi tell you why she doesn’t like to go to school?
Try to tell her more about school especially during bedtime. Think Qiqi will get use to schooling soon, try harder and don’t give up easily Qiqi mummy!

… Ya… Sometimes, you got to be firm in certain things. Kids are clever, they know how to get you siah! Don’t give up and always have faith in Qiqi and yourself that you guys can do it! And yes, tell qiqi it’s nice to have more friends to play with and more things to learn in the school etc etc..
Maybe u can talk to her & find out why she doesn’t want to go to school. For C’s case, one thing that motivates her is to see her friend at school. Maybe u can try to find something or someone that will motivate her to go to school.
Yes, I would for sure I know there are lots of benefits of going there coz as a SAHM, I can see myself she feels really bored staying at home. Just had to go thru this and make her break thru the frightening period.
Shireen, Yvette, QQ just won’t talk to us about school. Hubby and I tried, even nanny and her hubby tried, she just ignored us. Well, this time I am there, so I don’t see anything that she should be afraid of. Probably there is, only in her point of view, but I just dono.
She’s enjoying now.. and hence you don’t have to worry any more.
oh…she got angin one…..hope she loves that place.
