The Age That I Wish My Child Will Stay To Be!

20.11.07 / My Scrapbook, Parenting, QQ, Tags / Author: chinneeq

Got this tag from Jacelyn and I am glad she modified it a bit.

Look at her how she fix her toys, as if imitate her father meddling with her plumbing fixtures.

If you ask me, hmm….I treasure every single moment, especially now. At age 3+, she can take instruction more easily and most importantly, I gained lots of freedom because of this.

  • She understand that she is lucky to have mummy working (blogging) at home so she leaves me alone while playing on her own.
  • She can eat independently.
  • She can go to the toilet by herself.

Although I love her most now at this age, but I really miss her baby moments. It is impossible to turn back the clock, and impossible to stop future from coming. Just hope that this girl would grow up healthy and be more daring like her “dragon” mummy!

Wish to have Vegan Momma, Papajoneh, Judy and Judy share their parenting story too :p

Wow, I was just thinking the other day I wish my daughter was 17 again when she did not like the taste of alcohol.

Now in uni, the culture is drinking. Wine is served at the dining hall for formal dinners. So, sigh!

Thanks for the tag. :)

Oh…u know what, Judy, that will be soon over when she is bored, dont worry!

shern's mom // November 20th, 2007 - 12:30 am

shern always climb to sit on my lap when im on the computer. soon, he’ll be sick of sittin on my lap. so for now, i’m not chasin him away. let him sit for as long as he likes. like you said, time flies. one day, i’ll miss him bein so clingy to me.

qiqi is such a clever girl, she can do so many things by herself now.

yes, it is true. Let him so he’ll get bored one day :p

Janice // November 20th, 2007 - 8:31 am

I agree with you that kid this age is easier to manage & can follow instructions. Qiqi is a smart gal under your guidance. She sure knows that mummy needs sometime to “work” so better dun disturb her. Such a honey :):)

Hi Chin Nee… :-) thanks for coming to my blog and say hi!! Your blogroll is interesting, you collect mom and kids blogs! Cool!

So are you MOmmy to QIQI? I have a comment from mommy to qiqi.. is that you as well? :-)

You are good at scrapbooking, I am trying to instal scrapbooking software now..still not succeeded yet.. *doh* btw, I also want my kids to understand that their mom is working, but they want to play with me a lot and look very happy when I play with them.. I often feel guilty. So I ‘work/blog’ when they are sleeping! :-P

Trinity, yes i m. Good that you willing to put down your urgent work and play with them. I am pretty stern with qiqi, so she runs over to nanny (next 2 doors) whenever she feels bored :)

Shireen // November 20th, 2007 - 9:24 pm

QiQi is quite independent eh? She also has quite good attention span eh? When I watched you and the rest of the bloggers on TV several wks ago, QiQi was so good, just sat at the studio playing with the congkak w/o distrubing you, very impressed with her!
