First days to school

See that gloomy face? QQ started school at My Montessori early this week. Half day session is from 8.30am-12noon, but since mummy lazy to cook, she gets her lunch in school so I only pick her up at 1pm.
1st Day - steady, no cry no complain. Came back quiet with gloomy face.
2nd Day - fever liao. So she got medical leave.
3rd Day - cried when her boyfriend, Kai Jie (her playgroup mate lar) walk away from her after finished his lunch.
4th Day - want Mummy to stay today. Stayed for 20mins. She made fuss wanting this and that giving the teacher a hard time.
Why fuss? All because of these lovely biscuits. This school does baking/cooking session every Wednesday. The kids get to press their chosen flakes on top before baking. So she brought her 5 cookies back yesterday. She ate 3, send 1 to her Uncle-Pa (nanny’s hubby), and left 1 last piece for her father. When her father came back and tossed the last piece into his mouth, she screamed!!!!!!!!
And Mummy was silly to promise her she can get them from teacher again in school today. Alamak, where got some more cookies? Sigh….so she took advantage to cry and fuss for star cookies when teacher gave them cakes for snack this morning.

oh dear…no worries, next week more cookies ok.
she look vy serious in the school
CN: sigh….dono whats wrong with her…
Wow, this preschool even has baking class? So interesting. I’m sure Alycia will love it, too bad it’s too far away
CN: Shireen, you might wanna try suggest this activity to Alycia’s school? Since it is only once a week, I am sure the school wont mind doing it. Lots of kindi going into this practise now to attract parents to send their kids there.
Those cookies look so yum! And so pretty too! Even I would make a fuss just to get me some of those!
CN: I think so too, so kind the teacher to pack and distribute to the kids
Kids are like that. They tried to make all sort of excuses when they do not wanna go school. Anyway, it was a first few days at school, guess she will be ok next week.
CN: Guess what, today she come back home with me……SO GERAAMMMM!!!
That sounds like a vy interesting kindy. Got baking class for 3 yr-olds some more.
CN: Sounds fun hor, dono why this silly gal refuse to go this place. Just a matter of time, I guess…
aiyo … hope she fine now. y so gloomy? nice school .. have baking lessons. kids must have loved it.
CN: It is only once a week. Good exposure and fun for the kids to mess around :p
Wow….this school is really interesting. I would love to attend too
CN: Come here Auntie Barb to bake with QiQi
The school looks fun. Aiya..but QIQI look so gloomy.. hope she get used to the school soon.
CN: I think it is fun too, but still can’t find out the reason why she refuse school
I bet QiQi will put on weight since she had lunch in school…that’s what happen to Jona..maybe, he scared of teacher, so, will kuai kuai finished all his lunch…kah, kah…me senang lor..
CN: Hmm….let’s wait and see
i cant find any school with cooking session in PJ la. anyway, its separation anxiety, she’ll enjoy herself soon. give her time. happened to Ian too
CN: Wen, almost all school in my area “advertise” for their cooking/baking session which is done once a week. Even the pre-school I love at Sri Soka has a special kitchen made for the kids. U might wanna suggest to your kid’s school. Although QQ dont wanna go to school, she was very happy with the cookies making process, kept on telling me how they pressed, twist, this and that :p
Qiqi’s school so good got baking class. We don’t have that here leh. Its always coloring, sing song, story telling & outdoor activities only
Janice Ng
CN: Janice, suggest this baking idea to yur kid’s school. Sure can attract lots of parents
wow, what an interesting activity….”baking” in school!! i’m sure my boys love that but too bad not available in their school. the kids were made very adventurous….siram-siram bunga with apron…..so cute!!
nice biscuit…no wonder she cried lar!!
CN: I curi ate one bite. really delicious :p
Hi Chinnee, I guess all kids are the same. Sean cried every morning when I sent him to babysitter for some period until I stopped the babysitting. I think I will have a tough time next year when he is going to pre-school. * sigh*…
CN: Alice, i know what u mean. sigh…….a process that we have to go thru, see who lucky lor…
I guess QQ has yet to adapt herself with the new school. No worries, she’ll come to love to go to school and will be fine very soon.
Mummy fast fast make batter and let QQ press press and twist twist to make some more cookies lor.
CN: Tracy, u are smart. That was initially my plan today. She din go school and I kelam-kabut liao, so tak jadi press press twist twist today
Chinnee, when my girl change to a new school, she also cried until my heart ache for 1 week plus. But when my husband send her, she did not cry. She is closed to me than my hubby. I always tell her, finish school then you will see mummy. Now, she will tell me back.
CN: Oh Yvonne, I am eagerly waiting for this episode to be over
Wah this school is soooo cool! Got baking sumore!
Aiyoh, poor Qi-qi, daddy popped in the last pc of cookies.
Don’t worry, next time Aunty give u one big canister!
CN: Wah….Aunty Alice so kind
QQ looks so grown up in that apron, she’s a cutie.
i think that’s separation anxiety, she’s so used with you around. give her a lil time and she’ll be fine
CN: I m dying to wait for this madness to be over :p
Oh oh.. Why you didn’t stop Daddy from eating it?
