Pot luck celebration
Yesterday was the last Saturday before the arrival of the Moon cake Festival. After the festival, the kids will have to wait another year to play the lanterns. So we take advantage of the last weekend to celebrate by having a small pot luck attended only by family and QQ’s nanny’s family. Each family prepared some food, and we only managed to finish it during our tea today. Instead of playing with the lanterns, seems that everyone is more interested to play with then candles and fire. I gather the same goes for kids in other families as well?
i can see from the photos that kids have fun playing with the lanterns. Im going to play candles n lanterns with my son on this coming tuesday - mooncakes festival….

Hey, i used to hv a dragon lantern myself more than 20 years ago…. and they are selling the same types of lanterns now. Old is really gold eh?
BTW, it takes ages to download your page each time I want to leave a comment. Is it only me or others also face the same prob?

I must go buy some mooncakes today. Did not realise the festival is tmorow. What is the best brand? I prefer the traditional ones compared to all the new exotic flavours
CN: Rina, u better be quick. As far as I know, all famous brands like Tai Thong, Six Happiness and Yok Woo Yin all sold out their egg yolk lotus mooncake

my boys also were curious playing with fire…anyway, i don’t wish they like playing with that !!!
for me it takes a little longer with yr blog than others’ blog with down loading !!!
