Craft: Muffin in a Boat by Kelly
See the children anxiously waiting for their craft materials? It is not easy to have the children trained to wait patiently. To me, obviously there is a great help if a child has a chance to join a playgroup.
This week, Kelly prepare some cut out boat template and bits of color paper. She even had her sister baked some moist chocolate muffins for the children. I always feel so blessed to know many wonderful mummies in the Saturday playgroup. This is how the boat look like. Since it is a printed template, all we have to do is just staple them up and sticked some color papers for the boat designs. See the boxes of the fresh muffins? Kelly, we love you lar…..
That is Joanne’s 2nd son, Wayneson posing with his boat muffin. After we finish our craft and muffins, the children used their boat and sing Row-row-row a boat

Hi Chinnee,
Yummy muffins & cute boat.
CN: Thanks Alice
wow this muffin looks tempting. The boy love it very much.
CN: Wayneson knows I am taking his picture
All kids refuse to kill(eat) their muffins..
Learning hot to make a paper boat can build the creativity of the kids.
CN: Ya, but this we had it a fairly simple one for the kids
the thing that capture my eye the most is the yummy muffins…
CN: All of us too, yummy yummy!
Wow, that activity looks fun. I bet the kids were so looking forward to sink their little teeth into those delicious muffins.
CN: Shireen, mummies are more likely wanting to sink their teeth into those
the playgroup is very interesting…do lots of craft and inluding food too… yum yum, I love to bake but now too busy. I hope I can join in too.
CN: There playgroup is something I will never regret coordinating
You have so many clever moms in your group.
Kind of sad that America is becoming so crazy. Can you believe some schools won’t let parents bring cakes to school for birthdays anymore. They limit to celery and carrot and other boring no fun foods. Really think the schools are going to far. Parents pay them, not the other way around.
Oops. Sorry for the rant. I wonder is my country can last another 100 years.
CN: They are indeed doing everything full heartedly for the children. It really touches me. So stupid to limit food to celery and carrot lar! Vitamin and good food is important, but dont forget, KIDS NEED FUN !!!!
Chinnee, I really love our group. Luckily we did not split up.
CN: Ya, Joanne, i can’t bear to move away from this group too
Great arts n craft. QiQi seemed vy good with scissors. Must hv got lots of practice.
CN: She can even use mine
